今回は新しくFirst Classの講師として仲間入りしてくれたJessie(ジェシー)先生に自己紹介インタビューをしたいと思います！

Could you please introduce yourself?

My name is Jessie Charmaine, 32 years old from Consolacion, Cebu City.
I have been working as an ESL teacher for 5 years.
I’m hardworking and diligent, and teaching is my passion.
I feel happy every time students learn new things.
I believe that we should not just learn English but we should enjoy learning English.
Aside from working hard, I love collecting Spongebob
items and cute stuff.
I also love traveling and eating delicious food.
(名前はジェシー・チャーマインで、セブ市のコンソラシオン出身の32歳です。英語講師の経験が5年あります。私は勤勉で真面目で、教える事が好きです。生徒さんが何か新しい事を学ぶことが喜びです。英語をただ学ぶだけでなく、英語を学ぶことを楽しむことが大切だと思います。仕事以外では、スポンジ・ボブのグッズやカワいいアイテムの収集が好きです。旅行と美味しいモノを食べる事も好きです。 )
What are your hobbies?

My hobbies are singing, listening to music and watching
Korean dramas.

When is your birthday?

My birthday is on June 15, 1988
1988年6月15日生まれです。
What is your favorite color? Why?
（好きな色はなんですか？また、なぜですか？）
My favorite color is Blue because I feel happy everytime I see blue. Most of my things are blue.
(青色を見るたびに幸せな気持ちになるので、青が好きな色です。私が持ってるモノの多くは青色です。 )
What is your favorite native Filipino food?
（好きなフィリピン料理はなんですか？）
My favorite native Filipino food is Adobo because I like eating meat and salty food.
(私が好きなフィリピンの郷土料理はアドボです。お肉と塩味の料理が好きです。 )
Where is the place to visit in Cebu that you’d recommend?
（セブ島でオススメの場所はどこですか？）
I would recommend Top’s Lookout in Busay, Cebu City. The view especially at night is really amazing.
(セブ市のブサイにあるトップス展望台がおススメです。景色、特に夜景が素晴らしいです。 )
How do you describe your personality?
（自分はどんな性格だと思いますか？）
My personality is humble. I believe that we should always be humble and never think that we are better than anyone else.
( 謙虚な性格です。常に謙虚に、他の人より優れてるなど考えない方が良いと思います。 )
What do you want to become in another life?
（生まれ変わったら何になりたいですか？）
I want to become a Bird in another life.
I just want to be free and to fly high in the sky.
(生まれ変わったら鳥になりたいです。自由になって空高く飛びたいです。 )
What inspired you to become a teacher?
（講師になろうと思ったきっかけはなんですか？）
It was an unexpected blessing.
I became a teacher with the help of my friend’s mother.
(友人のお母さんの影響で講師になりました。予期せぬ恩恵でした。 )
What made you decide to work at First Class?
(First Classで働こうと思ったきっかけはなんですか？)
I want to have more experience and I believe that in FCI, I will learn many things.
(もっとたくさんの経験を積みたくて、ファーストクラスではたくさんの事が学べると思いました。 )
Is there something that you keep in mind during the lesson?
(英語を教える時に気をつけていることはなんですか？)
Yes, I want them to learn something from me.
(はい、私から何か学び取って欲しいです。 )
Any message to future student?
(生徒の皆さんへのメッセージをお願いします)
Keep on studying and never give up.
