I am Caren B. Sambo. My family and friends call me “Carya”, but you can call me by my first name which is Caren. I am 24 years old. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education major in General Education last March 2018 at Cebu Institute of Technology-University. I’ve been working in the ESL industry for more than two years now.

My hobbies are playing outdoor sports (badminton, marathon, and volleyball), and dancing.

My favorite color is Yellow, because it symbolizes hope, happiness, and positivity, and those things reflect me as an individual.

I recommend you to visit the “Cebu Safari Adventure Park” because this park serves as a sanctuary for different species of plants and animals and features mainly the African Savanna, Gardens of the Worlds, and the White Lion Safari. Aside from meeting those animals in person, you can also experience extreme rides there such as sky bike, zip line, huge swing, ATV, etc.

I still want to become a teacher, because it’s really my dream to become a teacher ever since I was young.
（生まれ変わっても先生になりたいです。幼いころから先生になることが夢でした。 ）

The children are the ones who inspired me to become a teacher. They have a lot of dreams in life that they want to achieve, like “What/who they want to be in the future”, and I want to help them with that. Seeing them achieve their dreams in life makes me feel happy. We, teachers help them to achieve them.
（子供達が、私が先生になりたいと思った理由です。子供は沢山の夢、成し遂げたい事を持っています。「将来何に/誰になりたい」などです。それらの手助けをしたいと思ってます。子供が自分の夢をかなえるところを目撃するのは、自分に乗っても幸せな事です。先生として、彼らを助けたいです。 ）

I’ve just seen the school’s name (First Class), and after seeing it, I got interested to know more about this school. So I applied here and I can clearly see how my goals align with the purposes of the school. There’s nothing I love more than when I’m working with other engaged individuals towards a common goal, and that’s what excites me to work here.
